Meet "Rascal," a male, "All-American" mixed breed approximately 1 year of age. Rascal is a rescue dog, who was found tied up, abandoned and left to die. He was left outside in the hot summer sun for an entire weekend with no food or water.
When Rascal came to Aunt Jeni, he was dehydrated, severely starved, and near death. He had no idea what it was like to eat fresh food instead of garbage. He had to learn to eat vegetables and fruits. Under Aunt Jeni's care, Rascal has blossomed into a loving, loyal, healthy companion.
Rascal has completed a Basic Obedience class, and continues his obedience training. He is registered with AMBOR (American Mixed Breed Obedience Register) and will be competing for his obedience titles when he is ready. He also hopes to become involved in work as a therapy dog, and is learning many amusing tricks to share with others who are sick or otherwise in need.
