FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR COMPANY
How long have you been in business?
The company made its first official sale of its flagship frozen food diet in April, 1999. At that time, we had just two recipes: Chicken, and Lamb. Since then we have added several more frozen food recipes, a variety of Raw Meaty Bones, lots of terrific dehydrated treats, and an entire line of all-natural supplements.
For a trip down memory lane, take a look back at the various incarnations of our frozen food packaging by visiting the “packaging history” link under the News link above.
Is there really an “Aunt Jeni?”
Absolutely! You can read more about her on the Who Is Aunt Jeni link found on the About Us page of our site.
What have you done to “go green?”
From the beginning we have tried to be as environmentally friendly as possible in our manufacturing processes by using biodegradable cleaning agents, subscribing to wind-generated power and generally conserving resources to reduce our carbon footprint whenever and however we can. We participate in our county’s recycling program for paper, cardboard, glass, plastic and aluminum. We support small, local, organic farms by purchasing as much of our produce as possible locally. We have also changed our packaging to use materials that are more eco-friendly to reduce both energy consumption and landfill space. Do you support any charities?
We are donating all proceeds from the sales of our item Enhance First Aid for Pets to local pet-related charities. We also participate in local events that support pet-related charities whenever possible.
Why don’t we see you at more trade show events?
Mostly because those events are costly to attend, both in time and money. We would rather use our resources to keep on producing yummy stuff for your pets at the best possible prices But we have been known to show up from time to time, especially if the event is “close to home” for us. Check out the Event Calendar under the News link above to see where we’ll be next.
I will be visiting the Washington, DC area. Do you give tours?
No. Our manufacturing facility is not open to the public; we are neither equipped nor insured for walk-in traffic.
