Rio

"This is my Dog Rio. He is an 11 year-old Lab mix. We rescued him from the ASPCA almost 10 years ago. He biggest joy in life is riding in the car and playing ball. He would chase the ball for hours and to exhaustion. About a year ago, Rio started experiencing very bad pain and stiffness in his hips. The traditional vets classified it as Arthritis and prescribed an a pain pill. These pills helped his pain by making him lethargic. He would just lay around all day. When he was not on the vet prescribed medicine he was his normal fun loving self. However, his hips made horrible cracking noises in the morning and he was so stiff that playing ball became a challenge.
