Who is Aunt Jeni?
Aunt Jeni (Jennifer Boniface) is an
animal lover! But more importantly, she is an animal nutritionist, who holds both a
Bachelors Degree (BS) in Animal Science and a Masters Degree (MS), in Animal Nutrition
Science. Both degrees are from the University of
Maryland. Her graduate research specialized in canine diets. Her thesis project,
conducted through the Nutrition Lab at the National
Zoo in Washington,D.C., focused on the formulation and analysis of a special diet to
help control urinary stones and other health problems in an endangered canid species,
called the maned wolf.

Aunt Jeni is involved in homeopathy
and herbology, along with other alternative and nutritional therapies, in a
never-ending quest to provide the best possible care and maintenance of her
dogs' health.

Aunt Jeni has appeared on TV
(WGAL/NBC in central PA, WTTG/Fox in metropolitan
Washington, DC) and radio (WCBM 680 am in Baltimore, MD) to talk about natural
diets, and demonstrate how to make your own at home.
She also speaks to groups on occasion, helping others to
learn more about holistic health care for pets. To read more about the
publicity we are attracting, click here.
Aunt Jeni owns Doberman Pinschers,
and a rescued "All American" dog as well. You can find their photos on the
"*Taste*imonial" pages of our site, as well as on
the BARF Pictorial!
Aunt Jeni asks you to consider
contacting your local chapter of the Humane Society or your local Animal Shelter to find
out how you can help, either by donating your time or saving up resources (pet food,
blankets, towels, etc.) to drop off to them.
